Just saw he is coming out this year.
http://www.espn.com/blog/nba/post/_/id/32688/german-forward-isaac-bonga-declaring-for-nba-draft

I have watched Bonga's highlights and I've decided we combine him with Bamba…

"Bonga to Bamba

underneath for the and one!"

In all seriousness, Bonga looked really good against the euros. He has a handle and can pass.

He is a second rounder though...right?...ok SI has Bonga as the 56th overall. He's German league so he can hang with Theis….also?

18 years old
6' 9"
205 lbs.

He's smooth like Walt Frazier (he can glide like Clyde)....where you gonna get an NBA comp like dat?

With that said my draft pinkie is Isaac Bonga. He's not the type of player that maybe the Celtics need as he a swing for the fences, draft and stash guy. He is so young and has so many skills you can teach, timing, court vision, crazy length. He has an 8'10" standing reach and a 7 foot wingspan. He's a 6'9" point guard with a really good handle.

56th best prospect seems low for this guy. It would be sweet to buy an early second rounder to get his rights and stash him over seas for a couple of years.

I think he rises to at least the beginning of the 2nd round because he has crazy upside....

bonga be my binkie this year.

I'm bananas for Bonga too!!!

Interesting find- TP-and sounds like a Danny type of player/project. I guess his workouts will determine how far he rises. Sounds like he could be a late first or early second.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I'm on that train ever since I've watched a few of his game highlights. Seem like he could have a very high ceiling especially if he's drafted by us. Stevens would ooze and gush at his measurements and metrics.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

BONGA! I am a bit obsessed with this kid. He looks like a diamond in the rough. I like  Dzanan Musa too but I think he'll be long gone by 27. The Bucks seem like a natural to draft either Musa or Bonga as they are going to build the longest team in the NBA!

This kid is the swing for the fences pick. If he could shoot he'd be in the lottery...."Great size for a player often utilized as a primary ball handler. 6-foot-8.75 with a 6-foot-11.75 wingspan and an 8-foot-10.5 standing reach. Gives him potential versatility on defense."

It is a hype thread! ;D

The Ringer draft guide has dropped Bonga down to the last pick in the 2nd round...

great! even easier for the celtics to pick him up now.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Maybe they can sign him as an undrafted player if he falls out of the draft on a two way contract!

I'm sure he'll end up going in the 30's. The Sixers need at least one draft and stash.  ESPN mock has him going to The Spurs at 49.

If he's so good why is the consensus that he's a low second round pick?

He is really raw and really young. He's also very skinny and needs to work on his shooting. He'd be a draft and stash type player that could come over in a couple of years and could maybe be something then. He's a tall 6'9" point guard with a 7 foot wingspan that's not done growing and he has a handle and good court vision. It's a risky pick but a good swing in the 2nd round for what he could be.
