Great start - we look focused and prepared.  Honestly, when was the last time we had a significant lead after the first 6 minutes?  I can't even remember.

Yup, loooong time ago. Hopefully we can keep it up.

Also, nice timeout by Doc, we were starting to get too tentative on offense.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I think the thing is the Bobcats are not a very good shooting team, and this team is very good at shutting down teams that can't shoot.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."

At some point Perk is going to start getting more attention on the offensive end.  It will be interesting to see him handle/pass out of the double team.  He has become, dare I say, another weapon.  The more attention Perk gets, the better for the other weapons.

I love seeing Daniels at the point. Makes the offense flow so much better than Eddie of the Turnover. Even Pierce tends to get stuck too much in 1-on-1 iso mode.

Of course, that doesn't get rid of Eddie's defense. Oi.

Perk is getting anything he wants. Including layups.

Exactly. Recognition of a weapon (and Perk is absolutely that ever since he's developed a post game--God love Clifford Ray) only helps when there's enough non-weapons to guard. Unfortunately for teams trying to stop the Celtics, Perk was the only guy who WASN'T an offensive threat amongst the starters. I'm not sure they're not better off letting Perk post up 1-on-1 than trying to help off any of the others.

5 times C's got their hands on the ball in that possession and Charlotte ends up scoring.
