Wish we could see the starters play a bit more. There's not much time to get back in shape and in rhythm before the playoffs.

Stan Van Gundy on the Lowe post earlier this week mentioned something about this (but for the 8 regular season games, not these scrimmages).   They were talking about the Portland/New Orleans race for the 8th seed.

Zack Lowe was saying how one team might have an easier schedule because they play all the tough teams at the end of the 8 game stretch when teams might be resting players.

Stan Van Gundy countered how that might not be true under these circumstances.  He thinks teams secure in their playoff seedings will instead bring players along slowly (like we're seeing now) but then go really hard the last couple of games as they gear up for the playoffs .  So teams like the C's and the Bucks might have there stars play limited minutes the first few regular season games to ease into things, but then play full minutes in the last few.  Van Gundy said it would be best for you to play the good teams early, because they won't be going hard yet.  So far it looks like he's onto something.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

Trying to get the clear path call. Probably didn't think he'd get an easy layup

Kanter used to be money that close to the rim early in the season.  missing bunnies far too often as the season has progressed

Well it was fun just to see the guys back out there.   It is going to take a few games / weeks to get back to prime shape / rhythm.  Lets just hope everyone out there today can stay healthy and that Kemba magically gets better soon as well.
