Another loss on deck
I may not stay up for this one.I'm not watching the WC trip. Gotta get to work early.

Yes. This losing streak has me in a state of misery.
I don't think that Rozier would have had enough time to dribble - maybe just a catch & shoot. He was probably open because they probably doubled Kyrie.

Jordan will play for the clippers
Sounds like horford will not play for Boston
Going to be another long miserable night

Said he had a horford update and I wouldn’t hold your breath
Al Horford will sit out tonight for "observation".
I guess it's Jarell Eddie time.
I guess it's Jarell Eddie time.
Jarell Eddie goes off for 40!
;D
It's amazing how shallow we are in the bigs department.
Baynes is not a particularly useful offensive player.
It's amazing how shallow we are in the bigs department.
Man Jaylen got whacked on that layup. Call the [dang] foul
it's been like that since perk went down in the finalsIt's amazing how shallow we are in the bigs department.
It's been like this since the Perk trade
There's the Baynes from the beginning of the season. Hopefully this gives him some more confidence moving forward.
Ah, I'm glad the refs catch that travel and not Decker's ::)
Ball don't lie.
Ball don't lie.
Lavar might
Where's Jarell Eddie?
I’d rather get Scal a uniform and get him out there ahead of NaderWhere's Jarell Eddie?
Yeah, I'd rather him out there than Nader.
So Mark Jackson doesn't think being a first time father at age 19 in his rookie season might not effect his play? ::)
Nice, Rozier. Maybe this will get him out of this funk.
OMG refs stop with these nonsense ticky tack calls.
Every time I see that iPad commercial I wanna punch that snarky kid in the face
Nader just needs to shoot and not think
Jaylen makes horrible decisions when he has the ball. Really makes me question his bball IQ sometime.
When Basketball is just a free-throw shooting contest it's golf!it's only a free throw shooting contest for one team tonight

It's so good to see Tatum playing well once again.big daddy
Hopefully they come out hot in the 2nd half and not cold like yesterday.
Is there EVER any justification for one team having LITERALLY THREE TIMES as many fouls as the other team, because that's legitimately where we're at.I can't remember the last time we've shot more free throws than our opponent in a game.. maybe late 2016?
And of course no foul for Tatum on that contact.

Are we really moaning about officiating again?Do you even watch the games before you say things like this??
officials dont have it out for us. We just foul the other team more than they foul us. That simple.
I lost my "complain about the refs thing" when I was like 13, I think.
Good to see so many people carrying the torch.

Tatum with 10 shot attempts in the first half. I like it. I want to see him hit 20 attempts tonight. Keep shooting young buck.
Is it just me, or does Griffin literally release the ball on his shot on the way down?
Is it just me, or does Griffin literally release the ball on his shot on the way down?
L. Williams 0-3 from 3 tonight. clippers 0-9 overall from 3. That is helping.
Lol, what a ridiculous thing to say. He’s one of the best passing big men in the league, can rebound and has a really solid low and high post game. He’s already lost a considerable step athletically, and is still basically a 20/10/4 guy.Is it just me, or does Griffin literally release the ball on his shot on the way down?
He does have a weird hitch in his shot, especially when he's that far out. It's more noticeable when he's at the FT line. It's not Fultz bad but it's ugly. Which is why I've always said he's HIGHLY overrated and once his athleticism goes he's toast. He's useless unless he can jump out the gym.
The refs just flat out hate us. Period.
I think weve gotten the shaft on some level tonight, but the idea that there exists an agenda or that it doesnt in large part even out is totally ridiculous. Are we really moaning about officiating again?

No, it's really not that simple. I'm pretty sure we only did the "hack-a-Jordan" twice, meaning there was a legitimate 16-6 disparity in the fouls.
That's simply uncalled for, and in virtually every case in the NBA that is an unjustifiable spreading of the fouls, in one half no less.
And it's not like this is a rare thing; it's literally almost every game that the refs rack up a huge disparity in the first half and then have to compensate with a differing officiating standard in the second half.
How is shoving Kyrie with the off arm NOT a foul!?!?
HAHAHAHAHAHA SO NOW GETTING FOULED WHILE YOU'RE TRYING A FOLLOW UP TIP SHOT ISN'T A SHOOTING FOUL!?!?
HAHAHAHAHAHA SO NOW GETTING FOULED WHILE YOU'RE TRYING A FOLLOW UP TIP SHOT ISN'T A SHOOTING FOUL!?!?
Crazy bad!
Jaylen's brain has been off most of this game.
LOL so now if we hold our face it's a foul?? The ref had ZERO intent on calling that foul.

Where were all the conspiracy theorists when we were on the lucky side of call after call against the Warriors?
How about when we were permitted to mug the Rockets the entire second half?
officials make mistakes. Sometimes you end up on the bad side sometimes the good. Moaning about them as if they have an agenda against us is such a poor excuse.
Now THAT was a bad call!

Nobody (at least not me) is saying that they have an agenda. I'm simply saying that they're incompetent, garbage refs, and I say this on pretty much every game I watch. There's just no objective standard of officiating anymore, and virtually every single ref struggles with consistency, both in individual games and between games. And the result is this type of major foul disparity that is based on pure incompetence and inconsistency.
EDIT: And a perfect example right there - Johnson CLEARLY goaltends on that Brown "jumpball," yet the ref somehow misses that right in front of him.
Lol Morris is just lazily two-hand pushing guys on his screens.i was shocked they let that go
That much I agree with, even if he's been spun around a few times.Jaylen's brain has been off most of this game.
Yeah he is out of synch on offense. He seems to be making things hard on Lou Williams though.

oh that block by Theis was COMPLETELY clean.
screw that

I can agree with all this. I think officials are garbage and I think it is a problem (although I think a large part of the problem is that its just really really hard).
My comment was directed at the people who think officials have it out for us. Thats bogus.
When Brown is struggling with the outside shot, he needs to be patient and get to the rim.
Aggressive drives to the rim will get fouls at least.

TP. And it certainly is hard. Hell, even junior high games that I would ref were hard.
The fundamental problem is that they're simply too involved in the game. Many of the calls that they make shouldn't be made, and this leads to more chances to err. But since the NBA is really pushing this offense/perimeter-oriented game anymore, the refs have to call that crap.
What would be a worse loss: our loss to LAL last night or the Clippers losing to us without Al and Smart with how we've been playing lately?
For as intelligent as Jaylen supposedly is off the court, he sure is really lacking in the BBIQ department.Yeah, that off court intelligence is meaningless.
I'm done. I barely watch the NFL anymore due to crooked officiating and them pushing false narratives politically. I can't take these refs. Theis had ALL BALL and now Lou Williams is getting the Lebron treatment.or maybe youve just invented these narratives as excuses for why things arent going the way you want them to?
I’m sure Brown is as horrible on radio as he is on tv. Woof this is a really bad night.

Larkin has been a godsend tonight.
I wonder if Doc ever regrets bailing on us?

After hearing some of his views on social issues I'd say his off-court intelligence is overrated too LOL.

Lou Williams is noticing Jaylen Brown tonight....
Jaylen at full speed has those Tony Allen handles sometimes. Once he cleans that up he's gonna be unguardable IMO.Yeah, he still needs to figure out how to modulate his speed. He still looks like Rozier last year, sometimes, where he's going as hard as he can and just can't hold onto the ball. He needs to learn how to slow down.
Jaylen looks awful. Long way to go to be a good player.

He has to. I also don't think our players would have developed as good under him and we never would have gotten Hayward or Irving.

Yeah Brown has been working hard to not let Lou go off on us...
If a young player can provide great effort on D every game thats all you can ask.
Both Jaylen and Jason are having their fair share of duds on offense, but they need to keep up the effort in other parts of their game.
THEIS THEIS BABY!!! ;)
How on earth is that a blocking foul
of course on the 2nd night of a back to back, after losing a bad game against the lakers, we come back and play really well missing Smart and Horford.
exactly why I think we have a chance to win against GS on sat.
lets get Brown back on Williams...

How the heck was that not a travel??

I am always surprised by how nimble Deandre Jordan is.
He looks too big and dorky to have such a great touch around the rim.

You know, I really wouldn't mind Larkin taking more of Smart's and Rozier's minutes. He's at least a true point guard who can initiate the offense without relying on the high PnR, and he always plays with energy, which is contagious.

Lol Blake griffin throwing the ball at the ref
Good to see Rozier with a much better game, too. This is just what the doctor ordered.

Celtics fans are some of the best traveled fans in the league. I was in Charlotte over the Christmas break and the amount of Celtics jerseys around the arena was crazy.
Is it me or the team plays better without the dum plays of Marcus smart?

Also, spectacular use of irony to misspell dumb.
We just need a pass first point guard to help Tatum and Brown... trade smart
