Some positives to take out of last night's game:
Anyone else notice how much better the Celtics rebounded the ball last night
Atlanta is one of the better offensive rebounding teams in the league ranking 7th in offensive rebounding per game at 12.0 and 8th in offensive rebounding rate .281
Celtics held them way below those averages last night with just 7 offensive rebounds and an offensive rebounding rate of just 18%
The Boston starters as a unit played very well, outplaying the Atlanta starters whenever they were on the floor together, in my opinion, we won't discuss the bench
KG and Paul were world's better in this game than the night before, we won't discuss Ray's shooting or Rondo's lack of offense
I think this team pretty much has made some strides to play better in the last couple of weeks
Orlando and Atlanta are a combined 36-9 in their home courts and winning in either place is not something that is easy to do
I think the Celtics were in each game until the end and had a chance to win both games in the fourth quarter
I see progress from two weeks ago
If they keep it going, I'll be a happy person but I definitely think Danny Ainge has to upgrade this bench to give these starters a much better chance at success without riding the starters completely into the ground
