Through 3 games, Detroit is 3-0 and Griffin has put up 26-8-6, 33-12-5, and 50-14-6.

A lot of people were talking about him like his best days were behind him and Detroit wasn't going anywhere this season. It's possible that's all true and this is just a hot start for the season but he's looking like he's proving a lot of people wrong right now.

If I recall correctly, I think this past offseason he said he was looking forward to getting through his first preseason in a while. At the time I thought it was hyperbole, but the way he's moving it seems to be true. You can tell that he's worked on his handle and shooting a lot. He's a better ball-handler than JB, lol.

Also helps that Casey has a lot of confidence in running the plays through him offensively. And as we saw in LA, he thrives next to a big bodied rebounder. Drummond shooting from three is also a crazy dvelopment

He’s been shooting more 3’s in recent years which will only help as he gets older, and as long as he remains healthy is still a top PF in our league.

When both he and Hayward were free agents I was a little surprised Griffin was more of an afterthought for consideration.  I guess he was the more risky player considering his injury history, and past higher reliance of athleticism.
