OKC just got handed pretty much a perfect bracket. Opposite side of both Houston and GS, and they start off with Portland, who they were 4-0 against this season. Then they’d face either Denver or San Antonio in the second round, who I think they handle.

OKC has a good shot of getting to the WCF, and I could potentially see them knocking off one of GS or Houston and going to the Finals. I think they beat Houston 3-1 for the season series and had a close season series with GS.

OKC are likable, no doubt. Good luck to them getting to the finals (have OKC ever been to the finals??)

Russ is great, PG deserves credit for signing a contract in Oklahoma, and Adams should be on the Celtics.

P.S Can we swap Adams for Baynes, Yabu and Theis: and Schroder for Rozier. Great thanks bye.

I'd love that Adams swap, but Schroder is one of the biggest chuckers in the league. Close to 1FGA every 2 minutes on 41% shooting. Pass

Yes they were, in 2012. That year belonged to us. Wouldnt it be amazing to see that group win

I don't see any upsets in the East. Top 4 seeds advance to Round 2 and that's where things will get bloody, bad blood among those four teams that remain.

However, in the West...I can see the Spurs dismantling the Nuggets. Pop and the Spurs have been there too many times. The Nuggets have too much pressure with a #2 seed. Also, OKC Thunder is too dynamic for Trail Blazers to handle. Other than that, Warriors in 5, Rockets in 6. Now that Round 2 battle is gonna be good between GSW and Houston. I got Houston in 6 there- Warriors dynasty comes to an end.

East

Bucks 4-0 Pistons
Raptors 4-0 Magic
Philly 4-1 Nets
Celtics 4-1 Pacers

East is top heavy. I don't think there will be any long series in the first round.

West

Warriors 4-1 Clippers
Nuggets 4-3 Spurs
Blazers 1-4 OKC
Rockets 4-2 Jazz

Unsure about Nuggets and Spurs. Two high quality offensive teams who are bad defensively. Should be close.

I'm not sure the Nuggets need a singular closer against the Spurs.  Denver has excellent depth and versatility.  I could see these teams defending home court through the first 5 games.  After that I think the Nuggets take it in 6 or 7.

OKC has the best change to pull off an upset even though I still lean towards Portland.  I'm expecting the favorites to win across the board.

So apparently, Game 3 of the series is Friday night and will be aired on ABC. Interesting.

Just wondering, but has ABC ever aired an NBA Playoff Game during Monday-Friday that WASN'T a Finals game? That's kind of cool because my family's TV package doesn't have TNT/ESPN (we don't watch TV much as is) so there's 2 nationally televised ABC games in the first four games of the series.
