This year's draft reminds me of the 2013 draft. It's not heavy on star players, hence the top picks aren't super valuable. That being said, if you have a mid/late first, then all drafts are pretty much the same. At the end of the day, nearly all drafts have at least 1-2 future stars. For instance, the 2013 draft had Giannis at #15, Gobert at #27 and Oladipo at #2. Even the 2000 draft (possibly the worst of all time) had Michael Redd at #43. I wonder who will prove to be the future stars from this year's draft.

Anyway, here would be my targets.

In case we trade up: Tyrese Haliburton

In case we make all 4 picks (highly unlikely)

#14: Saddiq Bey

#26: Tyler Bey. Just an amazing defender!

Check out this video. It focuses exclusively on his defensive game.

He's a decent shooter as well
- 41.9% from 3, albeit on 1 attempt per game
- 74.3% from the free throw line on 5.9 attempts per game

#30: Robert Woodard II

#46: Isaiah Joe

Gimme as many switchable wings as possible! We can't have enough of them! :)

I don't get your love affair with Maxey.  He struggled freshman year, inefficient, not especially athletic. He's an undersized 2 guard, not a point guard. This is not Donovan Mitchell we're talking about here.  There will be several far better options available at 14 than Maxey.

Maxey is currently my last guy in my 4th tier. Making him my 12th overall prospect in this draft.

TIER 1
LaMelo Ball

TIER 2
Anthony Edwards

TIER 3
Killian Hayes
Onyeka Okongwu
James Wiseman
Deni Avdija
Isaac Okoro

TIER 4
RJ Hampton
Cole Anthony
Tyrese Haliburton
Devin Vassell
Tyrese Maxey

I find it easy to project Maxey into an NBA role. He has proven himself to be a good defender and at 6'1 (without shoes in 2018) 198lbs with a 6'6 wing wingspan he has the size to be a good/great point of attach defender. On offense he was under utilized at UK but showed glimpses of his ability in the P&R.

The two stats that I'm banking on for

Maxey is his 65% at the rim shooting % on 109 attempts.

 To compare

Anthony Edwards 69% at the rim on 129 attempts
Issac Okoro 67% at the rim on 149 attempts
Kira Lewis 57% at the rim on 203 attempts
Aaron Nesmith 55% at the rim on 52 attempts
Jae Morant 60% at the rim on 264 attempts
Donavan Mitchel 61% at the rim on 116 attempts
Jaylen Brown 61% at the rim on 160 attempts

The 2nd stat if is shooting

At UK he shot .29% from 3 on 3.6 attempts and 83% from the foul line on 4 attempts

In his 18/19 AAU season .41% from 3 on 7 attempts and 79% from foul lone on 6 attempts

His foul shooting numbers, AAU 3pt numbers, and Steven's staffs ability to work with shooters gives me little doubt that he is a 35+% nba 3pt shooter

TP for posting a defensive scouting video! The dunk reels do nothing for me. This stuff is good to watch.

i think it would be better for DA not to use all those pick  this year, trade some pick + some player, for next year draft. Next year draft is much deeper in contrast to this year.

I would like to see this guy wear a celtics jersey,  partner with, Smart, Ojeleye, G. Williams, then bang Cry Baby Embiid all game long.. He could be the next Ben Wallace...

If toppin drops that low we BETTER grab him. But then again I was an advocate for Jabari Parker and that center that went to Indiana last year, so scouting young talent isn’t my strong suit lol.
To be fair Goga has been quite promising for the Pacers lol, he's been "better" than Romeo this year imo.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

TP for this list!

Givony's the most exciting ...possible trade of K.H. for something seriously nice and bigger.
USA Today good quality and realism...but no bigs, Ramsey groomed as Smart-like PG.
Basketball Insiders would be improved by Paul Reed or Robert Woodard at 26
Nba Draft.Net lost in space  (though lewis at 26 would be a coup)
NBA draft Room not bad at all
SI    I would worry about all of the picks for the short term...
CBS Sports excellent for C's, but rather gamble on Poku at 30 than McDaniels
Tankathon great, but at 30 take Azubuike or Stewart

 8) ;D

Those above mocks really show the lack of consensus in the drafts, huh? Kira Lewis at 26 would be a dream

I think that lack on consensus will carry over to teams real draft boards and we will all be shocked by where players go.

For sure, it’s going to be wild.

Despite the lesser number of big name prospects compared to the last few drafts (Zion, Luka, Ayton, Morant, etc.) I’m still quite excited because this draft is so unpredictable.

Give me Achiuwa at 14!  ;D

High floor as a role player, can switch 1-5 and he can finish at the rim (nice layup package for a big, fluent athlete)

High ceiling because he played SF most of his career, pushes it up the floor quick and has some dribble moves you wouldn't expect. Shot mechanics are okay, upper body motion is good, lower body not so much but that can be improved.

Furthermore he plays with energy and seems to be a hard worker, so I'm confident he will improve even more.

I’m so starved for big guys I posted a while ago saying just take the three best big guys available and don’t look back. However, that’s largely because Ainge never seems to draft big guys.

At this point I’m leaning towards:

#14: Best available wing who can shoot and defend. A long term pairing for Tatum and Brown when Hayward’s gone, whether that’s this year, or three to four years from now. So, Saddiq Bey, Tyler Bey, Woodard, Nesmith - whoever Ainge and Steve’s feel is the best fit.

Then, I want two big guys at 26 and 30. I feel that would really round out this team long term - if you pick them right. And I think we can pick them right because they don’t have to be world beaters, just solid bigs.

#26:  Xavier Tillman. Could be an outstanding Draymond Green type small ball forward who can also play some PF.

#30: I “really” like Azubuke. But, one of Vernon Carey, Isaiah Stewart, etc - the Best remaining big guy fit for us.

I feel we can round out the team with this draft with a bunch of young guys who can grow together. I’ll figure out how to get rid or Poirer and another player pep to fit them in after the draft - or during it.

I really like Smart as our long term PG after Kemba goes. Big physical DJ type - sets a great tone and a really solid floor General.  We can also work on the PG position over the next few years as well.

Based on OP's mock I'd take

14-Nesmith
26-Reed
30-Tillman

Lakers, NYK, and Raptors don't need a center so Tillman will be there at 30 but Reed would not.

If you want to move VP do it with a pair of 2nds and cash, not a 1st. He is only $2.5 million one year. Usually for a guy to be moved just for a first he has to be like 7 million or more per year with like two or more years. Even if the team has pick capital that is a waste.

Do you think that any of these guys are better than Timelord? Cause if they aren't, then why bother?

Personally speaking, I like none of our big man options at #26/#30.

Haven't watched enough of him. Do you think he can ever become a small-ball Center? I mean, he definitely has the length to play at the 5.

Height: 6'9" (not sure whether it's with shoes on)
Wingspan: 7'2.25"
Standing reach: 9'

Fwiw, here are the respective numbers for Bam.

Height w/o shoes: 6'8.75"
Wingspan: 7'2.75"
Standing reach: 9'

He doesn't seem to be strong enough though (not yet anyway).

Weight
Achiuwa: 223 lbs
Bam: 242.6 lbs (at the combine)
