The draft lottery is tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET. The C's have a 97.6% chance to end up with the 14th pick. Here are the exact odds for all teams:

And here's a GoZ video from last year's lottery.

2 pleas to the lottery gods on my part:

- I wanna see the Grizzlies keep their pick.
- I wanna see the Knicks suffer! The lower they drop, the better! ;D

This is a sad day, if the MEM pick conveys then the Celtics will officially have no more surplus 1st rounders going forward. RIP rooting for some random team to lose for a better pick.

I want to see Golden State picking 5th and New York picking 8-10.

I'm not too bothered about our pick. I like next year's draft more, as there are some more freakish athletes in the 10-20 range, which is where I see Memphis picking. There are a few guys I like in that range, especially given the likely loss of one of Kanter/Theis:

Ibou Dianko Badji: 7'1", 230lbs with a 7'8" wingspan. I feel like he'll rise a lot though. Looks like a clone of Dikembe on film.

Oscar Tshiebwe: 6'9, 260lbs with a 7'4" wingspan. Amazing rebounder (over 9RPG in just over 20MPG as a freshman) and active on defence.

Amar Sylla: 6'9", 200lbs with a 7'2" wingspan. Really raw but has all the tools, seen lots of forwards in this mould over the last few years.

Moussa Cisse: 6'10", 215lbs with a 7'1.5" wingspan. Really coordinated athletic big, swats a lot of shots.

There's a bit of a trend here. Heaps of African talent coming through to the league in this upcoming draft. More athletic defensive-minded bigs than you can throw a stick at. Of those 4 I'd probably like Tshiebwe as he's a bit older (played well at West Virginia) and has a legitimately elite rebounding ability.

There are a heap of other intriguing prospects like Devin Askew and Terrene Clarke. More legit NBA talent in next year's draft IMO, so even pick 18 next year is probably better than pick 14 (alongside 2 other first rounders) this year.

This is the wrong draft to rig. There is no consensus No. 1 pick.  Could be anyone of 4 or 5 guys.

Somebody should have told them this last year when there were two superstars at 1 and 2 and the picks went to New Orleans and Memphis.

Steph Curry speaking at the DNC tonight, I believe.

GSW will probably get a high pick, lol

If they do I'd be happy for them.

I do not want GSW to be gifted anything more than they already have been.

14 is ours!

Love Tshiebwe's game as well! He'd be the perfect fit for our system! Had he declared for this year's draft, he would have been my binkie at #14.

That being said, I'm still holding out hope that Timelord will become our long-term solution at the 5.

Hahaha New York got the 8th pick.
And Cavs got 5, lol.

Just hope GSW don't win the #1 pick, although picks 1-3 seem to have the same value
