Give me Joe Johnson, by far BPA. I'll figure out what to do with him later.

Or I can put Iggy as my Point Guard. But Joe Johnson is the pick.

18 million dollars, Jesus Christ.

Guessing this was gonna be Nick's pick?

So, what's the early consensus?

Are salaries an interesting aspect of this game that adds a new element, differentiating it from the CB Draft?

Or are they overly burdensome and a pain in the butt?

I think they're interesting so far and have clearly influenced some players' value.

I don't think they'll be seen as burdensome til some owners start running up against the line and need to start taking minimum guys or making salary dump trades to stay above water.

Ask around the 6th-7th round when everyone has filled out their starting lineups and rotations and take a gander at what they have left to spend.

My guess is you might get a different answer.

For me, it definitely adds a different perspective and skews player value. Overall not bad. Then again, I have the Lakers so maybe what I say is less important.

I assume Yoki is going to be moving JJ?

Otherwise, I don't love the fit.  Deng / AI2 seem to already have the wings covered; there's no room for a $18 million sixth man.

I'm OK with it given that a guy with ~unlimited money basically said that was his target.   But he needs to deal one of the Deng/Iggy/JJ trio to make sense of this.  How that deal works out determines how good the pick was.

I love it. Gives a lot more dimension to this draft.

I agree, this is my first CB draft but I love it with the salaries
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I would be happy to start JJ at point guard in a big lineup or go small and slide Iggy to SF and Deng to PF.

I would be more inclined to go small. I think it'll be easier to find a PG who finishes that lineup smoothly than a skilled power forward.

What is Chicago's payroll now?

I imagine that foursome is very expensive. $18 million for Joe Johnson. What, $15 million for Iggy? $11 million for Noah maybe. Probably $12-13 million for Deng. Around $55-57 million. Is that right?
