Trying to get Theis some shots?

Giving him an opportunity to see if he can fill that role in the playoffs maybe. If this was an audition for them to run pick and pop for him he flunked it

Yeah, not so good. He looked good on the other end though...

Maybe the Celts are aiming for a better 2019 pick.

The sad thing is the Celtics are really trying to win this game and can’t. This team is getting bounced in the second round and only because they get play a sinking team in the first round will they even make the second. Can’t wait for this season to end and have a completely new roster next season.

So we’re back to wrist slitting again?

It was a meaningless game for us but a nice little run at the end. If it was Horford taking those shots at the end instead of Theis we win.

I can't wait for the playoffs!

Me too TP for the optimism

If we play with the focus and intensity we are capable of I don’t think anyone is beating us in the East. We should have enough depth to cover even if JT or Marcus are injured for the first couple of games,

Let’s hope it’s a strain and not a tear

OMG. Stevens said that Tatum had the shin thing before the game started and they still played him. SMH.

Brad doing this is much worse than my little annoyances at him in-game. Far out

Brad just said in his presser that Jayson said he had it before the game and didn't tell anyone (probably because he wanted to play) so Brad didn't know about it until after.

Ooooh, gotcha.

Still frustrating, but no real blame on Brad for JT's issue.

From what he was saying it seems like taking JT out was completely precautionary. I.e. if it was a game that mattered he would have played. Just some slight discomfort because someone kicked him in the spot where it was sore.

Smart on the other hand clearly couldn't play, but apparently was walking around in the locker room after so hopefully not too long before he is back.

why does shot always end with Morris?

Because sometimes, Hayward is too much of a sissy to take the shot.

Morris could pass the ball back... oh, yeah, that's not going to happen...

And then we end up watching a game of hot potato go back and forth with the shot clock expiring.

It's just unfortunate that Mook tends to be the one open, because Kyrie and Gordon have created the opportunity by driving and attracting defenders. Mook isn't a facilitator and he's not looking to draw and pass so he will always end up with the shot. Gordon will always pass the ball to the open person, it's just unfortunate that it happens to be Mook all the time. I agree sometimes Gordon needs to be more selfish.
