how tight can you play when fouls are now 7-1 LA? we've had, by my count, 4 interior drives, and gotten no calls.

eventualy, you have to give guys space and not drive if your just going to get in foul trouble.

I will never understand why we simply don't show up for games sometimes.  I know the Lakers offense is great, but we're giving no defensive effort to try and stop it, even though we've done it before and should have the confidence that we can do it again.

So what are the Celtics' chances in game 5?  I picked the Lakers in six and I am sticking with that prediction.  No championship team comes out and plays the way this team is tonight.  I already have the television off.

I am guessing a 30-40 point blowout tonight.

The defense been very poor. Where's the tranisition defense? Two shotblockers why so many plays where there is nobody protecting the rim?

Add poor defense and the opposition shooting lights out and you have a nasty situation.

If Pierce is injured, fine.  If not, he had better wake up.  Ditto KG.  I have
seen them play better....so why do they waver like this?

Fouls aside, we have to play better defense.  I'm willing to let Kobe Beef get his
40 points, if it means we single team him and make sure all the rest of the
Lakers are freakin' covered and that every shot is contested.

It's time for Leon Powe and Big Baby Davis. This team is asleep and as long as we are going to do nothing but take ouside shots, how about a couple of nice, young, strong, energetic guys to get those offensive boards and put them back in.
