Why does Hamilton still wear that mask? He should start seeing shrinks regularly.

I read this somewhere and I forget the source so I don't know how reliable it is, but Hamilton wears the mask still because if he breaks his nose one more time he will need major reconstructive surgery to repair it.

I guess if that's the case I could understand then.

i never put the Bird steal vs Detroit up there with Havlicek stole the ball (1965) or Henderson's steal and layup in game 2 (1984) because it did not lead to a title.

great play, no doubt ..... maybe the most difficult of the three steals, but no cigar, no title ..... just a series win.

In answer to the question asked as to why Hamilton wears head protection, I think it has to do with having an advantage against retaliation when he throws his elbow to the head of opponents. 

I liked J.B.s podcast suggestion with instructing E.T. to bust that ratfaced mask wearin' Hamilton right in his plexiglass grill(with a high elbow(?)), as he would be understanding of the implications of dirty play, if only in retaliation at this point.

I can't stand Hamilton. I hate him. He cut Cassell, punched Garnett, hold with his hands Ray and Kevin without getting noticed, then on the other end he dives and acts, and on top; objects to refs AGRHHH
And what guy has RIP (rest in piece) for a nickname? And his free throws, when bouncing ball from the side...I would want to throw something in his face

tonite's game is scary. Detroit is sitting their like a wounded bear - some people counting them out because of Billup's injury. they will come out fighting.

no way the Celts have the same emotional energy tonite as for game 3 ....... however, when the emotion is not as strong, a team needs to focus on execution, execution, execution on both offense and defense.

Yep, that's how I see it...All the pressure is upon 'troit, so as not to get again BOOOed off their own court; Whereas the lowely underdogs can only come away having taken one or two from the badboys in their gym...

THIS IS A MUST WIN FOR 'troit...

I hope they win so as to extend our series maybe to 7, but I just don't think the Celtics will allow that to happen...
