Man that sucks.

I hate watching these videos. Livingston. George. Hayward. Now Lavert.
Sad stuff for the kid as we can see with Hayward, a star, it takes a long time to get back to normal. And he was looking like a pretty dang good player this year. Like Livingston, maybe he never gets that special ability back. Hope he does though.

Ugh, awful. Hope his recovery goes well

oh man that is terrible. prayers to Caris.

No surgery required. Dislocated foot

He'll likely return this season. It's about as good of an outcome as you can hope for in this scenario.

This is great news!

I feel for the kid. He had many injuries since his Michigan days. He slipped in the draft, he was a projected lottery pick prior, due to those concerns. When fully healthy he is above average player, as we've seen since last year. I hope he makes it back but he must be like "Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.!"

Good to hear that the injury isn't as bad as it looked.
I always thought that the Nets got a steal when they drafted him; I'm glad he took a bit of time to bloom so that he couldn't mess with the Celtics' plans

Interesting fact.
Derek Rose was there for three of the worst injuries.
PJ3, Hayward and Levert.
