Anybody have any new thoughts on Civ V, especially people who played a lot of Civ IV? I've actually been playing a bit of Civ IV again recently.

One thing I find a bit odd in Civ IV is the amount of time I spend making cities into great artist or great engineer factories. I enjoy it from the strategic angle, but it seems a bit odd conceptually. I'm curious if Civ V has moved away from that.

I loved Civ III, but my brother got IV and returned it because he said it was very similar so I never played it.  I think i'll get Civ V.

Speaking of TBS games, I hear there's a new Heroes coming out.  That's probably my favorite game of all time.
