If Odom was in the starting lineup he'd be an allstar playing like this
Can't stop, Rondo!

Pretty impressive, the Lakers taking road games from the Celts and Cavs in back to back games.  Right now, they're the best team in the NBA.

3. Cleveland Cavaliers, 39-11, .780
4. Orlando Magic, 38-12, .760

Back into second, and first in the East.  Nice.

Something I've noticed too - if we split the season series with Cleveland, the next tiebreaker is conference record, where we have a whopping 5.5 game lead (30-4 vs 23-8) over the Cavs.  If we take just one more game from them, and maintain our good in-conference record, we have a great chance at HC.

Greetings-new to the board...love the forums have been lurking for a few months.

OK...can someone tell me when head to head wins and losses comes into play. With two losses to LA I assumed we had lost home court (if both teams made it that far)

thanks

Welcome to the blog; glad to have you aboard!

If we meet LA, the team with the better overall record has home court.  If, however, the two teams have the same record, then LA would have home court advantage.

Only if the teams ended up with the same record.  If the Celtics have the better record in the end the head to head record means nothing.

I can't wait to see how the Celtics evolve with the addition of Moore and Marbury.  Hopefully that will spark their second unit.  Because that's the unit that needs the most work.  Also BBD and Powe are getting more minutes because of KG's absence.  I hope they can step up and evolve both as players and with more confidence.

No matter how good we get, it doesn't make the Cavs worse.
I honestly think that because of that, it will still take an amount of luck to take the number one seed from Clevland.
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

True, although we're only one loss behind them (and have played three more games).  It will be tough getting home court with KG out, but it's not impossible.
