I like it, solid value. One of the 2 guys I was looking to trade up for.

Whoa. Horford at #16.

Yep. I think that's a big reach.

He wouldn't have gotten past me. He's an All-Star at either the 4 or 5. I don't see how guys can tout Draymond as top 5 and not acknowledge Horford top 20.

Al's decline on the boards/disembowelment at the hands of TT the last two years have soured me on him a bit.

He's still an excellent player, but he has a vulnerability that's hard to work around.

I'd want to pair him with a major glass-eater/physical presence but at the same time I wouldn't want to push him to the 4 (where he's a less impactful player everywhere but the glass, IMHO).

I still like him at lot at PF. I think his passing from the high post is on the level of the Gasol's. The stats back it up.

No thoughts on my selection of Butler?

He was rated higher on my board than his draft selection.

Excellent 2-way player and good closer. My nitpick is he's a better #2 guy than a #1 and you had a pretty good #1 option on the board there.

Would have loved to get Blake or Jimmy but I'm happy to select Klay Thompson.

Blake Griffin at #19 my favorite value pick so far. A go-to guy with a chance to put another top 40 talent next to him in the 2nd round.

This draft shows you just how insanely ridiculous the Warriors top 4 is in real life. 3 of them in the top 5 and the 4th at the end of the top 20, wow. Not saying I necessarily agree with Draymond at 5 but still wow.

Klay was a close 2nd on my list. Both dropped quite a bit.

Blake was #1 on my board originally - I thought people may worry about his injury but he could have a monster bounce back season.

I have Blake high (top 10) but really didn't want to build another team around him.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Thought.

Blake is an awesome value pick at that spot. Broderline franchise player. Top 15 for sure.

I'm interested in how Memphis will build around Klay. Great two way player, and he has shown on spurts that he can be the guy.

The Jimmy Butler pick is decent to me. Its always great to have a two way player, but I rated Kyle Lowry ahead of him.
