What could Stack possibly do for them?

They're gonna make a playoff push.  They're currently the #9 seed and only a few games back.

Might as well take the chance on a guy like Stackhouse.  I'm sure the salary is minimal.  Low risk signing.

Stack seems like a reach a contender might make, but wouldn't the Bucks be better served trying one of the players they already have in a push for the 8 seed?

Yeah it'll be for the veteran's minimum, which is subsidized by the league.

The money they spend on him is minor money, especially if they make the playoffs and have at least two more home games.

A desperation signing that offers very little value.

The Bucks playoff chances went down the tube once Michael Redd was unable to recover his pre-injury form + then suffered another injury. They're not able to make the playoffs without him.

I think the Bucks would be better off playing Jodie Meeks.

Decent chance they'll end up playing him, Stackhouse looked done last time I saw him on the court.

If he struggles Skiles won't hesitate to bench him.

I expect the Bucks to play him + expect Stackhouse not to be an improvement over other options already on their roster.

Skiles will play him, but how long will he do so if Stackhouse plays as awful as you and I both expect? My guess is not too long, we'll see.
