A list of available free agents:

• Furkan Korkmaz
• Ish Smith
• Robin Lopez
• Kevin Knox
• Danuel House
• Cory Joseph
• Danny Green
• Joe Harris- I think he made too much for us to sign him...
• Juan Toscano-Anderson
• Chimezie Metu
• Frank Ntilikina

Slim pickings...
Among that list, I think Danny Green is the only one with NBA Finals experience.

Also Juan Toscano-Anderson but I think he only played a couple of minutes in the finals...

Someone better send this list to Doris Burke. Remember how she was gushing over Danuel House during one of the Boston-Philly games last season.

Why did Brooklyn waive Metu? He played well for Phoenix. Legit rotation caliber guy. Not just an end of bencher. That was stupid of Brooklyn to discard him.

Cory Joseph would have been a nice signing if the team hadn't of acquired Springer. Both defensive orientated guards. No need for Joseph now but that would have been a good alternative if that trade had not of happened.

Don’t know him.
What’s he do? What kind of player is he?

Is there a developmental(or deeper bench) role for him on this team?

I think he is an older guy. I thought 28 but looked it up and it says about to turn 27. He is a 6-8 SF. He is a good athlete and stand still shooter. Okay defender. Rebounds. Good shot. Doesn't pass much. Kinda an over-confident role player type. Peripheral on offense most of the time with streaky scoring.

Hmm ... his shooting numbers are worse than I thought. Only 30% 3PT%. Maybe I just keep catching his good games and missing his bad ones. I may be overvaluing him.

I think Q will probably get promoted just ahead of the deadline for playoff eligibility on some sort of non guaranteed  multi year contract.

This will give the Cs an open 2 way to get a long look at a developmental prospect.

If you project forward the Cs roster is pretty set for next year absent a trade of a rotation player or the Cs 1st round pick.

Right now Tankathon has the Cs with 3 picks in the draft and they have 2 or 3 potential roster slots next year, assuming they resign Tilman, something I expect to happen.

Luke, and Svi are not under contract next year and the a 1st round pick will likely take one of those roster spots and the two 2nd round picks will probably be offered 2 ways or be international stashes. I assume Svi will not be back.

Then it's just who gets kept on 2 ways and do the Cs keep an open roster spot next season to keep some flexibility to be opportunistic with FAs or unbalanced trades.

Tankathon may not be up to date.  The 76ers beat reporter has said (and retweeted by Keith Smith) that the 2024 2nd rd pick that the C's gave to get Jaden Springer was the more favorable of the Bulls and Pelicans second-round picks - which is currently the Chicago pick.

Not sure why Tankathon is still showing two second round picks for Boston.....

Should Brad be calling?

Is he better than Queta?  I’ve got to imagine he goes to OKC if he winds up on a former team that traded him.

With X in the team now, I really think Brad will keep Queta on a 2 way deal. He’ll still be a RFA so we can match any offer provided it’s not outrageous. Muscala could be another sniper which Joe is fond of. I’d be fine of Q gets the 15th slot though.

It would be nice to have a big man off the bench who can make a jump shot. Kornet, Tillman, Queta. None of those guys offer that. It would be good if one of those guys was swapped out for an offensively capable big man.

That said, the coach had no use for Muscala last time round so no reason to think it would be otherwise this time. So I wouldn't bother. He could be a good pickup for someone else.
