Marcus is in his own head. He is shooting so poorly that he gets frustrated and it is effecting his defense. When that happens Marcus just isnt very good.

He needs to get his head right by the playoffs.

The fact that so many guys have laid an egg in such a big game is more than disappointing. It's like the fans realized the importance of the game and too many of the players did not.  To have a realistic shot at best record (and the playoff advantage you get from it) and put in this kind of performance is just inexcuseable.

If you lose you lose.  But if you lose like this?  A performance like this given the stakes shows you're not a serious contender.

Boston's point differential this year is 2.7 points a game.  That's behind Cleveland, Toronto, Golden State, Houston, Utah and the Clippers.  And that's with IT having an MVP-caliber scoring season and a bunch of Hall of Fame-caliber fourth quarters.

This team is good but it's nowhere near as good as it's record.

Well, Toronto just won, meaning they're one step more likely to be the third seed. We're going to get one of the worst possible playoff draws once again just like last year: Chicago, Toronto, Cleveland. All because we decided to not show up tonight (along with the first half of the Milwaukee game, which also cost us).

So why didn't they show up tonight???

They only have 1 player that can consistently put the ball in the basket. Bradley, Smart, Horford, Olynk, Crawford ext.. are not consistent players and are all capable at the same time to throw up bricks.
This team needs another elite scorer and until they get one they are certainly capable of getting a beat down from a top tier team.

Goodluck getting out of the first round.  This is how teams will play us come playoffs.  Take out IT and we are average at best.

Then next season comes and we draft.  We get the best player but we lose most of this core because most of their contracts are up.  Then comes the arduous task of having to sign bums for years to come because free agents don't willingly come here.

Danny, you are about to be exposed for **** gm you really are.  Your luck which has painted you as some genius over the years will soon run out.

I know this but they just rolled over after the Cavs showed some fight. They haven't rolled over all season.

I think Chicago was the best possible scenario for the first round honestly. After that, to me, the difference between us, Washington and Toronto is negligible.

They have been really poor off of multiple days rest all year long.  Maybe that just something that Brad will accept to get a few rest days in before the playoffs, since they won't have that luxury then.  I don't know.

Having said that they have really been awful on offense recently and I think they are starting to shell up.
