Celtics are on the 2nd night of a B2B, with travel (albeit Houston to Dallas, so short flight). They are at the end of an 11 games in 18 days stretch.

Dallas meanwhile at home and hasn't played since Friday.

That's about as big a rest disadvantage as you get, going to be interesting to see if the c's legs look dead.

yeah our guys looked pretty worn out yesterday at OKC, Joe pulled back JT/JB's minutes a bit in the first half just a little.
The team looked pretty low on the energy level yesterday.

Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Mavs due to right knee inflammation. He hasn't played in Dallas since 2022.

This has the makings of another Boston-Dallas game which is well played, down to the wire, with Doncic ripping our hearts in the finals seconds

Or we could just steamroll them from the beginning  :)

Also I know Horford gets rest but what about Porzingis? I'd hold him out too.

Brad needs to hire me as assistant GM. Porzingis now OUT tonight as well

Joe started alternating days off for back to backs with those two a little while ago. Think there were a few games earlier in the year where neither guy was available and it wasn’t pretty.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Porzingis' knee is starting to become troublesome.

And unfortunate that he cannot play in his homecoming against the Mavs.

It didn’t look troublesome yesterday when he had 32pts and 5blks. The team is being cautious with him(and Horford), which is smart.

Hope Luke continues his excellent play from yesterday. Looking forward to some quality minutes from Queta too.

Yeah, Porzignis is totally fine. They are just resting guys regularly which they should do , but with the current rules, they can't say he's out for rest.

Phew. Thanks for the reassurance. As long as he's 100% both inside and outside all is well.

Could look like another Bucks game.

I a bit concerned about this game.  Mavs seem to play us tough, Luka tends to go off a lot.
We are worn out before we played OKC.  Going to take a big effort to get this one, but GO CELTICS!!!!!

I'm hoping that the Celtics get off quickly!

Let's go C's! Let's get the Texas sweep at both home and away.
