I can't believe the Celtics dismantled the second-best team in the NBA, fully healthy.

Not just your typical game-winning jump shot or 15-point win, but 32 points? Against the arch-nemesis Lakers who have always played well at the TD Garden?

Crazy and wonderful.

It's a make or miss league, we shot nearly 50% from three. If we miss 5 more threes, and LA make 5 more, it's a two point game.

It's still defense where we have been slipping. When teams are scoring over 120 (with average 3pt shooting), something has gone wrong in terms of matchups.

That’s one way to look at it. It’s as simple as each team missing/making 5 extra threes.

Just about every game would look a lot different with 30-point swings.

Nice for the Celtics to finally be on the receiving end of a lackluster defensive performance given the way things had played out the past 1-2 weeks.

Heck, never mind 30, just the Celtics hitting 5 more threes in each of their losses would mean the Celtics would be 40-1-1 right now(obviously the tie would then have to go to OT).

Seems really strange to talk about a hit and miss league and then discuss 30 point turnarounds based on hits or misses.

AD also looked like he had absolutely no business being on the floor that night. Looked way too sluggish and tired, but apparently AD promised to suit up due to the hype of the Celtics vs Lakers rivalry.
