Kemba out.
For gods sake.

Is our training staff just terrible? We seem to have always had an injury over the last 2 years

Oooh, I'd love to see Carsen Edwards start.

Let Hayward take some more playmaking responsibilities and give Edwards a shot to find his offense while Kemba sits this one out.

I'd like to see Romeo start and give him some extended run.

That would be fun too!

But Stevens is going to start Wannamaker. C'mon Stevens, have some fun, start one of the young ones - entertain us!

ha, if CBS started romeo and the celtics lost I can only imagine the level of wailing that would appear in this thread...and the "fire CBS" threads that would follow.  ;D

thanks flc for another game thread. celtics win this game big time and we see some of the youngsters get time.

goooooooooooooooooo celtics!!  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Today's player are so lacking in physical toughness. Guys like Jordan and Bird almost never missed a game.

Someone on this crappy bench needs to step up and contribute some offense tonight.

Whether or not anyone agrees with that, we can at least say that there was no such thing as 'load management' back then. Those guys played 82 game seasons with the same playoff format as well. Yet, today's players want to talk about how they are more athletic. If your more athletic, you should not need load management.

The thing is, today's players all want to extend their careers, and their prime years,  as much as possible to extend their total incomes. Players back then never really considered that , they were paid to play, so they played every night.

The other thing too is the defense through the middle of the game was nowhere near as good as it is in today's game. Guys used to take the first 3 quarters off and then only get after it in the 4th quarter.  Bird played hard all the time and it shortened his career

I don’t know if it’s that, or if it’s the difference in coaching & management attitudes. I think guys like Jordan & Bird are freaks, but players definitely are rested more for load management and whatnot.

Guys like KAT & JT still playing most games

There Suns are healthy and playing fairly well. They have two true centers, a real PG, and a stud at the shooting guard position. With the injuries the C's have we'll depend on the bench throughout the game.

The last four years Kemba has missed six games. He’s been a freaking iron man. Come on.

FWIW, in his age 25-8 seasons, Larry Bird missed 13 games. McHale missed 17, Parish 18.

Kemba is the wrong guy to point a finger at.

What is it about Booker and TD Garden?
