Useless bench players

At some point if I was ainge I would cut NOW 5 players...Tremont edwuards ojeleje Wagner kornet... just bring with 500000 each or even less till the end of the season guys like isaih Thomas Trier kiddchrist farried maker... more experienced guys who can excell in some role... you got scoring from isaih and Trier..  defence form kiddchrist and fariried.. and a tall guy who can shoot from outside.. they will not play much... but for certain roles they are better..

No losses there save Semi.   

But Edwards, Waters, Tacko, Wagner are expendable.   Right now, it is too early on Nesmith but he is useless too.   We also have guys who don't produce in their given minutes and should be at the end of the bench, like Semi and Grant.   I am sorry but the bench production is terrible on this team and everyone knows it.   It is why we were beat so many times earlier in the year.

I am fine with Kornet, Nesmith, Langford and Grant and Semi being 15, 14, 13, 12, and 11th players on the roster.   We need to shore up 10-9 with some guys who can contribute.   Fournier will help and having Rob back will help.   Prichard is ok.  But 2 good bench players one that is a big and a scorer would help us a bit.

What makes Maker better than Kornet, or MKG better than Semih?  Is IT an upgrade over Edwards?

Fournier looks like a vet keeper so far . Hope DA can sign him . Keep Pritchard ...true grit kid and I like Kornet as third string , he moves decent and can shoot . Nesmith and Langford need a year to practice and grow with the team at least .

But there is 4-5 others that need a boarding pass on a ship to China .

One more big who is not too old and broken down and can actually  contribute at the 4-5 but won’t break the bank.  I like bigs

I’d say they’re different rather than better. When he finds the right role, Grant contributes more to winning than Semi.

Well you got your big that you wanted with Jabari Parker...just not sure about the not too broken down part but I think he ticks most everything else

Grant makes mistakes and he contributes.  And he's 22.   I think he'll be a player.

Grant Williams has a player efficiency rating of 7.25...League average is 15. His Per 36 is 8.4pts and 5.7rebs which is pathetic.

Played 24 mins tonight and had 4pts and a 2rebs. Have no idea how people think he is a quality bench player.

PER is skewed towards players who take a bunch of shots and/or grab a bunch of rebounds.  Guys who contribute in other ways don't get credit.  Draymond Green has been in the 12s the last three seasons, and his career best was 19.3, while a guy like Marcin Gortat has a career best of 21.2 and a career low of 12.8.  Pick a better stat to criticize Grant, please.  (As a Grant fan, I will admit other stats exist that can produce criticism).
