The heavens just got a little more eclectic with his passing. Rest in peace.

The definition of eclectic and "unique", Cappy made no apologies for his odd and awed approach to all things musical ... and had an incredible 4 1/2 octave vocal range. He was not only one-of-a-kind, but was talented far beyond what many of his fans realized, (a bit like Zappa and Rundgren in that respect). You'll be missed, CB ... some great, (though strange), memories from college and beyond. RIP, (and say hi to Frank ;)).

Wow - RIP Captain.

I saw him and the band in the UNM Student Ballroom in 1970 - amazing doesn't begin to describe it.

TP for the post

I actually heard this the other day and meant to post it but never got around to it. I was a bit surprised to see that no one else had.
