Is it just me or is Semih regressing on this team?  For what I've seen, he's really been struggling on the floor...stupid fouls, bad defense, and not that much of an offensive game to speak of.

It's not you.  I can't watch this guy.  He commits some of the dumbest fouls I've ever seen.  Someone tell this guy not to bite on EVERY pump fake his man gives him.  Whenever he's in the game it takes the Celtics just a couple of minutes to get in the penalty.

They need to come out in the second half and play defense ... period. Not even worry about the offense, that will take care of itself. The Raptors getting to the basket the way they are now is just shamefull on the part of the C's. Think D, think D, think D!

If JO is going to be out for awhile, I think they are going to have to sign another big man. Erden is atrocious.

Wow. Erden is abosultely horrid. At this point he is resembling scal more then anything.

And he fouls at a rate Mikki Moore could only dream of.

The reason why Erden/Baby frontcourt will never work and only give up leads is because

a) neither of them are athletic.
b) they are both bad rebounders.
c) neither of them are shot blockers.

I can see why they have been giving up a ton of leads this season as soon as the bench comes in.

If JO is going to be out for awhile, I think they are going to have to sign another big man. Erden is atrocious.

Erden is the problem out there?! Really?! He's played 7 minutes in the first half. How about the rest of the team refusing to rebound? How about the guards refusal to keep in front of their man? The starters are giving no defensive effort just like against OK city. They should be embarrassed.

Wonder if Doc would consider going super small with Baby and Harangody.  From what I've seen, Gody's the better pick and roll defender and it's not like Erden is intimidating anyone in the paint anyway.

I agree. Erden is bad, but everybody out there is bad. Nobody is defending. NOBODY. They're giving up baseline jams for crying out loud. This is a horrid defensive effort.

Erden committed fouls on 3 and-1s, each of them terrible fouls following terrible defense.  That's 9 points right there.  But he's definitely not alone.  Shaq has been terrible defensively, Nate tried going under on a Calderon pick and roll, nobody on the team got back in transition with Barbosa and everyone has been fouling recklessly.
