My dream is that teams overreact to the small-ball Finals and allow Jahlil Okafor to drop to #4.

I'd want the Celtics to pounce on that.

Okafor can be a franchise big man.  He was easily the most impressive player in college basketball this year.  I think the death of the inside-scoring big man has been exaggerated.  As teams get better and better at defending the perimeter, having a big man who can punish an opponent inside will become increasingly important.

It's easy to overrate what these Finals meant when you ignore the fact that the most talented inside scorer on either team over 6'10'' was Timofey Mozgov.

Otherwise, I'd advocate for Mudiay.  Yes, he's a mystery box, and yes, he's a point guard.  But Marcus Smart looked like more like a two guard who occasionally handles the ball this past year, rather than a point guard.  Mudiay and Smart could be a potent combination, and while Mudiay has bust potential, he could also turn out to be best or second best player in the draft.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I don't think we can get him at 4. I think the premise in the article was that Towns/Russell/Okafor were gone and if so, the knicks trade the pick.

Otherwise, I agree on Okafor/Mudiay.

Porzingis easily IF he is there. Sixers may take him at #3. How can you pass on a 7ft 1 athletic, highly skilled young kid who can shoot the lights out, dribble well, and block shots? He is no Bargniani , he's going to be a superstar. He's also a great fit for CBS's system and Ainge was after him last year before he pulled out of the draft.

If we got the 4 I'd trade down and nab WCS. I'm not really a big fan of that 4 range with our current team.

I couldn't honestly say since I have only seen workout and highlight videos from Porzingis and Mudiay.  I don't feel Winston is worth what I suspect it would take to move up to the 4th spot, but if Danny drafts Porzingis or Mudiay, that would be very exciting.  They both seem to have high ceilings, but of course that's based on some scouts and videos.  I hope it happens just for the intrigue and excitement.

Winslow, we need him to stop Lebron and win ECF in 2017.

Maybe, but then if Okafor is available at #4 the Knicks won't trade their pick.
Many people agree that this draft is a hit and miss process, this is why IMO it makes more sense to go for quantity over quality (ie use multiple picks- maybe not all for of them, but I doubt it is worth the cost to trade up to #4 this yea).

I like all the players in the poll but I guess that's why I'm not a scout lol

Trading up to 4 may or may not be worth it, but the biggest impression I've gotten of this draft class is that it's pretty shallow, not that quantity over quality is likely to be a winning proposition.

Using the 4 picks the Celts have, the best case scenario is probably coming away with a couple of semi-decent role players, perhaps even one borderline starter.

Well, ahem, the Celts already have 8-10 guys matching that description.

I'd rather have one chance at somebody who could actually be a key piece.  I think that'll require moving into the top 10.
