@GeryWoelfel 6 Dec
Told Rockets want two 1st rounders or one first and good young player for Asik. Good luck with that.

If this report is factual i would love to acquire Asik. I'd give them Kelly O in a second along with a first rounder.

Thoughts on if he's worth this rumored amount?

I'd probably be willing to give up KO and the clippers pick, but no more than that.

KO, Lee and the Clipper pick would be the best. If the Rockets don't take back a bad contract in return and then that asking price is too high.

KO would actually be a perfect stretch 4 to play with Dwight Howard

I just posted a new topic arguing we hold off on any moves till the off season but oly, lee and the clips pick for asik is winner
Rondo, Bradley, green, sully, asik with craw, Wallace, bass as primary backups is a good team that retains picks, expirings and the TE to improve further.

Asik is a nonfactor on offense... Bass stretches the floor.  When Rondo comes back, you now have two less shooters in the starting lineup (Crawford and Bass both on the bench).  IS that an issue for a team that lacks an elite scorer?  What happens if Bass ends up out-performing Asik?.. you move Asik to the bench and hope he doesn't pout like he did in Houston?

Not sure what the infatuation with Asik is.  Isn't he owed like Gazzilions?
Also, giving up on KO is kind of early, isn't it?

Besides, am I the only one turned off by Asik's demeanor/actions since losing his job to Howard?

Yeah, I don't like the pouting thing either and think Morey's asking price and time frame demands might be getting a bit steep given this guy could just quit on his team if he doesn't get to start or get his minutes.

This guy is a little overrated.  He's currently averaging 4.4 points and 6.8 rebound.  Why would a trade for him be that expensive?

I'm not giving up Klynyk for Asik.

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I'm not giving up Klynyk.  Sully, maybe, and one pick.

WUTTTT

I don't wanna give up on Olynyk. BUT SULLY MORE SO.

Best thing would be getting Asik next to Sully and Olynyk. Perfect mix of offense and defense.

Man, I think you guys are crazy saying you'd include Olynyk in an Asik deal...

A skilled 7 footer on his rookie contract (who you just drafted in the lottery) for 4 more seasons? Not to mention Asik's is owed a whopping $15mill next year ($8mill on the books, I know) and then becomes a free agent?

I like Asik and think he'd be a nice piece if that's the direction Ainge chooses to go, but giving up Olynyk is crazy talk to me. I'm not even going to address adding Sullinger...

Only way I'd consider adding Olynyk is If they took Wallace with him. Olynyk/Wallace/LAC first, and even then im not sure id pull the trigger. You're giving up on Olynyk entirely too soon.

Rondo is currently averaging 0 points and 0 rebounds. We must dump his salary immediately, will someone give us a second round pick?

Trade Bass (plus other filler) and the Brooklyn picks for a star.
