For what it's worth, Himmelsbach tweeted that Jaylen's agent is at the C's training facility this afternoon along with Ainge and Zarren.

4 years $115 million. Pretty nice compromise deal to be honest.  Glad he's sticking around for now.

What would the max have been?

Be interesting to hear if there are incentives and if so what kind.

Pretty sure it's the 5 yr/$170 million Jamal Murray and Simmons got.  Think the 4 year max would've been the $130 Siakam just got.

At that number hopefully there's a team option thrown in there somewhere. More than he's currently worth, I think, but not obscene.

yeah, I am all for Jaylen getting as much as he can, but that was more than I expected DA to give him.

I mean that is 21 million more than Buddy got.  It is apples to oranges with those two, not very similar players, but still.

Either way, awesome that this is out of the way before the season starts and isn't a distraction, Jaylen got paid, and we locked him up.

I was hoping the Hield contract would set the market, but I guess not. That’s a ton of money, but I’m glad to have him back.

those 5 year 170 mil contracts for those two guys seem crazy.  maybe at some point they won't, but right now.

yeah it's surprising that DA forked over that much.  but maybe there are more details with incentives involved like Sophomore said.

To add to the suppressed wages, Sabonis just got 4yrs, $74.9m.

Edit - Woj says up to $85m with incentives.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
