I was just looking around online and came across an article saying how teams will now be allowed to bring 17 of their players to Orlando now. I thought this was interesting. Not that I see it being a huge thing at the end of the day, it is good to know guys like Waters or Fall could be available.

You never know with injuries, how this will all shake out. You need someone to step in if needed. This makes me feel a little better.

Here is the article: https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2020/06/boston-celtics-will-be-able-to-bring-17-players-to-orlando-opening-door-for-tacko-fall-tremont-waters-report.html

Curious what you think of this.

I think it makes sense as a precaution to losing a player or two suddenly due to testing positive for covid-19, in addition to the regular player injuries that occur. A team's roster could get suddenly devastated overnight if 1-2 guys get an ankle sprain and 3-4 test positive for covid.

3-4 players test positive for covid, forced to quarantine and other players need to get tested as a result which can result in delayed scheduled games. Still don't understand how this Orlando league protocol is going to work flawlessly. And we ain't talking about players who will also blow their ACLs, get concussions, or dislocated elbows, etc the physical aspects of the game.

Opposing teams will have an advantage if they're fully healthy.
