Kanter wouldn't be the only player in the league that got lazy from March to May when the possibility of a resumed season looked bleak. But having all of June and July to get in shape most likely means all those players should be in shape by the time the playoffs start.

Really, no biggie, IMHO.
Players should end up in better shape with the time off allowing recovery from nagging injuries and normal wear and tear.

A few weeks ago, Enes Kanter stated that he had not been working out like he had before and admitted to being lazy. Clearly, this is not something we want to hear as Boston fans. But, how much concern does it pose for you guys?

For me, it definitely is concerning. We need a guy like him to be in the best shape he is in. He will be going up against some very tough interior big men come July.

That is a poor job on Kanter, to me.

Very Curious to hear your thoughts.
Go C's!

No, as long as he's in shape when he needs to be. If he still isn't then it's a problem. I'm output focused not input measured

I'm more interested in how Timelord comes in.  Remember, he was just beginning to work back into game shape when the shutdown hit.

Ya man that is an interesting one. I am with you, I want to see a lot of healthy Zion. Interesting to see what happens further into his career.

TP to GIFT for highly appropriate "eye of the tiger" reference.

With Kanter in the gym and perhaps Theis momentarily quarantined somewhere?

Posters can give them. So if you make a great point or good joke or whatever, posters might give you a TP.

It's just a forum tip of the cap, really.

Sometimes if you ask about them, they miraculously appear at your doorstep.

Ya man, I feel you. It is amazing too, you look at the flip side of the that. A guy like Harden and Jokic lost significant weight during this time. I just hope Enes is ready and in good playing shape.
I think Harden slimming down is a bad thing. His mass allowed him to defend the low-post really quite well, a big bonus in Houston given they’re without a centre.

I heard that. Although in my case, Tommy Points are sort of like the candy I waited on getting from the Easter Bunny. Never came.

There’s a ‘Using CelticsStrong’ board that you can find from the main page, which might offer some help. Tommy Points essentially serve as our thumb up / upvote mechanism. Under a user’s name on the left their should be a button that will give a TP, appearing as [giveth one]
