Rondo suffered "significant" hand injury during practice Sunday night, will return to full basketball activities in 6-8 weeks.

What goes around, comes around eh Rondo? Also, LeBron is getting ready for his excuses when they lose in the playoffs
Seems like the former Celtics are a bit cursed on that Lakers squad, hey? Might just be a former Celtic-guard thing in general, *cough, Cryrie, cough*

TP to -- gouki88 for "cough" reference.

Kemba Walker and Hayward's injuries aren't that concerning.

Please can we just stop overreacting and see what happens before we make such remarks? It's almost disrespectful to the players who have worked hard to come back, especially Hayward.

Kemba's knee is concerning....He is missing practice today and yesterday. I really hate to say it, but the knee is shot. Normal wear and tear would be healed after four months. Cartilage degeneration is incurable  in 2020. This really sucks for Kemba!

Now we'll be stuck with the journeyman Brad Wanamisser, who is NOT a starting point guard in the NBA.

You are saying "the knee is shot". Not really hearing that from anyone but you.  You seem quite certain and most of us who have some understanding of osteoarthritis know that you could be correct.  But what do you know about his knee that the rest of us don't?

Gotta admit, the daily highlights of Luka trick shots down in Orlando so far has made the NBA restart worthwhile already:

Add Harden to the list of NBA players who tested positive for covid-19 recently:

Thank goodness both he and Westbrook tested positive before entering the bubble. Hopefully they can recover quickly and not get knocked about by it.

Yeah, we pretty much knew this once we heard about Westbrook. Apparently they were hanging out closely together and both stayed behind the rest of the team.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Mike Conley was always one of my favorite PG's, hope he can bounce back. That Grizzlies team was something else.

Jayson Tatum has made 48.7% of 158 3s on the left side of the arc this season. He's found his spots and he is one of the NBA's biggest x-factors heading into the bubble.

Interesting considering his shot chart being a little different from his rookie season.

very interesting.  you'd think as a right hander it'd be the other side of the court where he was more effective

He did pretty well his rookie season as you can see in the first shot chart.

His numbers have relatively been consistent throughout.
Season   MPG    PPG   RPG    APG   SPG   BPG  FGM (%)     3PM(%)
2019      2,046   1,390   418   174   84   52   499 (44.8%)   167 (39.8%)
2018      2,452   1,243   476   167   84   58   466 (45.0%)   116 (37.3%)
2017    2,439   1,112   401   128   83   58   397 (47.5%)   105 (43.4%)

Jayson Tatum, Grant Williams, Gordon Hayward, and Kemba Walker are all at the driving range on the Celtics’ day off:

Read that Kemba sat out because he felt soreness in knee after working out.  I thought they were just slowly working him back in out of precaution, not because he had complained of experiencing pain.

So this is concerning to me.  If he is not fully healthy, I don't see this team going far in the playoffs.  We need a fully healthy and functioning Kemba.

The guy post all star game is not going to cut it.

He was starting to get a bit of a rhythm over the last 10 games. Good shooting splits, solid passing and scoring, solid defence too. I think it took him a long time to adjust from Memphis, which is fair given he played there 11 years
