8 point game with the whole 4th to go....

So I guess its not a blowout and I guess the rookies should stay on the bench and I guess the Celtics should actually try to win this game.

Imagine that!!!!!

we will see...but if the lead balloons to that 12 plus lead...doc should clear the bench

What disappoints me the most is that Doc is (once again) not sticking up to his minutes management plan. Why are the starters still playing? We have a back to back tomorrow. Now is the time to prepare for it and give the rookies a chance.

agree 100 percent. the reason bradley stinks is because he didn't get any run last year....looks like this will be the same with jjj and moore
not so sure about that -- I think Bradley would stink regardless of how much run he could have got last year

I agree, 100%.

You can only do so much to teach basketball IQ and Bradley doesn't have it.
yeah, he doesn't seem to have the 'it' factor good young players have when they get on the court.  his D seems more to be the result of being extremely quick rather than knowing how to position himself and play D.

We will have to see what the final score is. Seems Miami cn turn it on when they want.

  • Rondo = Good
kinda not surprised that Ray has so obviously kept himself in great shape and he's the only member of the Big 3 playing and playing well at the moment.

Garnett just looks old out there, though.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Down 8 and 12 minutes to go, we're mathematically still in it but I just don't feel this game, I just fear that Miami might go on a big run in, like, 2 seconds, and finish us off. But who knows? The zone has been surprisingly effective.

I would hate to see Doc run the starters till the end only to lost by a few points but now you sure have to try.

It's not just the zone.  Going small has increased the team speed.  We were way too slow with the KG/JO frontcourt.

I think we have to start viewing KG as a 5.

boston's BEST line up is rondo, ray, pierce, bass and KG

Well, you don't play rookies just because they're there. NO way either one of them is ready to defend and play at the pace Miami is playing.
Absolutely.

Yeah, we feel pretty bad, but I'd like to gut this win out just to smash the Heat's ego.

Finally Got Bass going. He and Rondo need to be on court together. In fact, he needs to start (Doc?).
