Boston expressed interest in Erick Dampier during free agency, sources say. May want to look into Damp again. Just no presence in the middle

Still hearing Joel Pryzbilla is happy in quasi-retirement. But if I'm Boston I make some calls about him, too.

Danny Ainge should be on his knees begging Pryzbilla to sign with us. He should sleep on his porch until he agrees.

Well that's what I would do.

But why do they need a center?  Lol

KG really looks old on the defensive end

Lockout wasn't kind to KG.

I wish we signed Shawn Williams.

I knows he's a straight up thug but he is uber athletic.

Agreed.  That's what happens when old players start to slip...they start having too many games like KG is having tonight.  They can still turn it on, but you start seeing more an more of these type efforts.

JJJ not getting off our bench, and Marshon Brooks is balling =/  I dont have any issue with JJJ, but I do wish we could've kept Marshon.  It was amazing that he slipped to us.

C's don't need a center, they need a time machine.

doesn't bode well when pierce had an extended vacation and still managed to come in hurt...how does that happen?

Because bruises are typically pretty unavoidable. Train really hard for 6 months and then try getting punched in the eye or something. I bet you still get a black eye no matter how prepared or rested you are.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
You can't put in a team defense with so many new players - and without Pierce - in a 3 week pre-season and expect to shut these guys down.  Totally unrealistic.

Heat are loaded and with the changes they've made, far better than last year.  Its going to take awhile.  But KG definitely looks old and we have no resistance inside - and no offense there either.
Personally I wasn't expecting them to shut them down, but maybe just box out on the defensive glass to stop the 1000 second chance pts they got in the paint would be a good start.

danny loves to collect point guards...they missed the boat drafting bradley and we will never know what jjj and moore bring to the team....i am concerned we are counting on a beat up before the season starts paul pierce and a guy coming off knee surgery to flip the switch. i think tonight is over...i want to see if they even compete tomorrow vs a poor NO team

His play makes me want to puke, PUN intended.

Am I the only one who knew what we were getting into back in 2007?

I am thankful we still have a chance to compete for a title.

We're still a top 10 team 4 years later.
