So, how many "Trade <fill in the blank>" and "sky is falling" type of threads do you guys expect before the game is over?

I'll go with 4.

Haven't gotten one yet, surprisingly.

You can't put in a team defense with so many new players - and without Pierce - in a 3 week pre-season and expect to shut these guys down.  Totally unrealistic.

Heat are loaded and with the changes they've made, far better than last year.  Its going to take awhile.  But KG definitely looks old and we have no resistance inside - and no offense there either.

Lets just rest RR,KG RA for the home game tomorrow... we ain't winning this game...even if we get it close which is impossible, the refs will make sure the cHeat win this one.

Tomorrow's game is at new orleans

Doc for god sakes infuse some youth in the team. Play the young guys. Rondo can't do it all by himself

No way this team is a three seed. No way they can beat Miami. The window is shut and this is a farewell tour

You are calling this after the 2nd game of the season?

Without Paul Pierce or Mickael Pietrus?

Remind me to PM you before I play the lottery, lol....

absolutely. those 2 guys wouldn't make a difference tonight....and in a short season boston is old and can't even keep up.

But I think it is still too early to call it like this, man.

and 15 boston turnovers...boston's effort tonight is unacceptable

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Worst defensive half this group has ever played.

Just awful.
A lot of the baskets in the second quarter were clean up/second chance buckets that not only reflect a lack of effort, but a total lack of awareness.

Boston expressed interest in Erick Dampier during free agency, sources say. May want to look into Damp again. Just no presence in the middle

Still hearing Joel Pryzbilla is happy in quasi-retirement. But if I'm Boston I make some calls about him, too.

- Chris Mannix

Danny Ainge should be on his knees begging Pryzbilla to sign with us. He should sleep on his porch until he agrees.

Well that's what I would do.
