What do people think a reasonable expectation is for the C's in that window?
Four down fifteen to go, 3-1 without Hayward.
guessing at a 19-9 record after that Christmas game. at the beginning of the season we'd be tickled pink with that record and knowing we'd be without Hayward for the bulk of it. looking at it now, I'm a bit disappointed.
At this point the team would have to flatten out to an almost .500 record(8-7) to get to that 19-9 record. As long as no one else goes down for an extended time, with that schedule, 8-7 has to be an almost certain worse case scenario. I am thinking 21-7. Even without Hayward, this team is almost elite defensively, especially when they board like they did tonight.
Smart/Brown/Tatum as a 2-4 defensive unit might only be beat as best wing combo defensively by Leonard/George/Shamet trio, and they haven't even played a game together yet to judge them to know for sure.
