What is the question?  Teams exceed the cap all the time.  We're still below the luxury tax line.

I can handle this one   8). Baynes was signed using the the Room Exception after we went over the cap. Theis and Larkin were signed using minimum exceptions. In the Irving trade, we took in more salary than we sent out. The amount of excess salary we took in was small enough to fit within the financial constraints of trades. We were under the cap, but after signing Hayward, we've made several moves that allow us to add salary, despite being over the cap.
