My new and improved team:

Detroit Pistons

C:  (26) Chris Kaman       7'0       15.7 ppg 12.7 rpg 2.8 bpg
PF: (25) Emeka Okafor      6'10      13.8 ppg 10.7 rpg 1.7 bpg (on an off year)
SF: (29) Hedo Turkoglu     6'10      19.5 ppg 5.7 rpg  5.0 apg
SG: (27) Jason Richardson  6'6          21.8 ppg 5.4 rpg, 41% 3pt
PG: (30) Jason Terry       6'2          15.5 ppg, (5.2 apg and 44 % 3pt in 06-07)

My team might not be the youngest out there, but they are certainly not old. We have some good size, especially with the frontline. Everybody is entering their primes and my team can still contend for at least 5 years. It is impossible to score on the inside with Kaman and Okafor manning the middle. Terry is not really a pass-first PG, but Turkoglu is running the offense. Terry can spot up while Richardson can drive and complete some flashy dunks. Turkoglu is the key to my team. He will run the offense and create for himself as well as others. He is in my opinon one of the top point-forwards in the league.

Plus with 5 picks in the next two rounds, we can round out our bench very easily.

Don't mess with these Pistons
2023 CelticsStrong Historical Draft Champions - OKC Thunder
PG: Chauncey Billups/ Baron Davis
SG: Michael Redd/ Dan Majerle/ Allan Houston
SF: Peja Stojakovic/ Gerald Wallace/ Toni Kukoc
PF: Shawn Kemp/ Antonio McDyess
C: Dwight Howard/ Tyson Chandler

Right. Thats in contrast to the actual Darko Milicic that plays basketball for the NBA. Its important not to get them confused.

leave it out.

i'm telling you darko, in the right environment, could really prove to be a great defender and next to bosh and durant he could be just that.

As opposed to next to Dwight Howard in Orlando. ;)

Darko isn't bad, though, you're right.  He's a defender, and not much else.  Basically, a slightly more skilled Diop.

  • The good ole days.
I'm starting to like how my team is shaping up...

PG: Calderon
SG: R. Brewer
SF: LeBron James
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Andris Biedrins

The best player in the world surrounded by ultra-efficient players, a knock down shooter, two rebounders, another playmaker, and tons of youth.

I just realized that John Hollinger would fall in love with my team... all were above average in PER at their position last year - Johnson (15th), Brewer (12th), Biedrins (7th), Calderon (5th), and The King (1st in the league).

Great offensive team but that's a terrible defensive team.
