It is nice to see some truly good offense. We have big time shot makers and more athleticism now.

Rozier and Smart....  Scary right now.

I wrote the above thinking I was replying in the game thread -- but... it is a propos here as well.  A plethora of shot makers -- and guys who can create.

I really wish that this particular term would be expunged from NBA vernacular.  It just sounds so dumb, imo, in a further attempt to reduce what now passes for "sports analysis/commentary" to the lowest common denominator, but I'm weird :-\.

Yep. Last year it was IT or nothing. Sometimes Horford when he was feeling himself.

This season Kyrie and Hayward are both excellent creators. Marcus Morris is probably a better creator for himself than anyone on the team last year behind IT and Al. Smart and Rozier are making strides. Tatum will have good nights against second units as he grows. Heck, even Nader is more confident and comfortable attacking the rim than, say, Kelly was, and Nader likely isn't even going to be part of the regular rotation.

As long as this team plays with harmony and hustle on defense, they're going to be all right.

Not only that we have creators.

Look at last years starting lineup...   Amir/Bradley/Crowder couldn't create anything.  We were an x and o team.

This year we have 5 starters that can all shoot and create.  The difference is stark.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
It was nice to see last nights shots fly. KI with the assists too was even a better sign.

And these assists were like he wasn't even trying..so effortless.
And if we got desperate for a score..Kyrie delivers a dagger...its like everyhting is insanely easy for this squad to score...I suppose defense will be the key then bacause just like the dubs..it was stopping the opponents from scoring where they thrived.
Im always of a believer that the team we have now will mimick the GS team of 2015...the one where they had Barnes...its so strikingly similar what we have now with all the offensive power this team has compared to that team.
