The Howitzer ain't just a shooter, folks!  He's becoming an oop man this year haha

Still don't understand how Brissett gets as few minutes as he does. His energy always brings something good to the team.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Sam playing strong defense.

It always makes me laugh when an opposing player call for the ball thinking they're about to cook Sam, then he shuts them down.

Only complaint is they are shooting too many 3s.

Agree, we need to see more Brissett.

It's going to be interesting to see which big Joe brings off the bench when Kessler comes in and Porzingis goes out.  Kessler is a load.

My guess is it's going to be Kornet, who I'm worried is going to be eaten alive by Kessler on the defensive glass.  Kessler is an excellent offensive rebounder.  My armchair coaching opinion would be to play Queta instead.  He still may not fare well, but will be able to compete on the glass better than Kornet.

Joe appears married to Kornet and after a couple of good games recently, he will absolutely be the first (and only ?) big off the bench.
Play them both, Kornet and Queta, let them take turns hammering away at the opponent's frontcourt.

Man, Jrue's finishing at the basket this year has been awful. Three point percentage is up, which is good, but he does have to finish better.

Just now noticing that about this team ?
You say it as if it just a bad trend for one half.

Feels like we should be up more than 10 with the way this game has developed so far.  Gone cold in the past 3-4 mins.

Only complaint is they are shooting too many 3s.

Aesthetic complaint, surely, as threes are worth more points, and we started something like 50% before this little cold streak.

ed: I mean, we started 4-8 from deep. Happened to miss five shots near the end of the first quarter - in the grand scheme of the game that probably won't matter? fingers crossed.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

We're going to have to start knocking some of these open threes down. If they're going to continue a lot of zone, have to knock those down when creating open shots off the ball movement.
