JB is off to a good start, behind-the-back misadventure aside.  A few good passes to shooters in the last couple of possessions here.

I’ve been annoyed with Jaylen’s tunnel vision lately- so it was nice to see him make the right pass on those last 2 plays (Pritchard’s 3 and Hauser’s open look from the corner).

Hayward was older and married when he was on the Celtics with a really young JT and JB, I doubt it was much more than a work relationship.

Plus you heard rumblings around then of Stevens favoring Hayward because of the Butler connection and that Hayward wasn’t getting his time based on merit. Additionally, Hayward opted out and split the moment he could.

They won’t be spending Thanksgiving together with Hayward

I wonder if JT/JB still are friends at all with Hayward?  random thought I know...

Were they very close?: Not suggesting they didn't get along but sometimes a co-worker is just that and nothing more.

I dunno for sure that they ever were friends, so good point.  Just thinking out loud.   Could be the opposite, and they didn't get along at all?   Just asking in relation to seeing JT/JB's hugs with Marcus the last game.   Different situation I know.

I have no idea.  Hayward was married with a family and JT/JB were younger (though I guess JT had a kid).  I think I recall reading something that Hayward and Baynes were close because they had kids the same age and their wives bonded.  Not sure.
