I think Boston is past the race thing....as far as Celtics image, etc..

First black coach and first all black starting 5, lets not forget, was the Celtics.

I think the problem is that it's a cold wintery place where everything shuts down at 1 am....
with a lot of fuddy duddy types and too many students.  Bascially, it feels real small and unexciting
compared to Miami, NY, LA, even Toronto, which is frigid but bigger and more exciting and very international.

Boston is still preferred to the majority of NBA cities, just not the biggest ones with big markets, or the perfect weather or mild weather ones...including a Texas team or two.

Anybody ever hear of the LA race riots? That was back in 1992. Funny how the national media completely ignores it, but it did indeed happen.

The elephant in the room is not the fake narrative about Boston being disproportionately racist.

It’s the IT fallout, and the perception around the league because of it.
The only color that matters is GREEN

It is still perpetuated by the media, too.

Boston has a reputation for some racism of white towards blacks that is due to, what, mostly the school bussing issue of the 70's ?? The media would never put that story down.

But the Boston Celtics organization has had zero allegations against it regarding race issues - unless you want to talk about the franchise which has operated with a focus on the best man for the job - white or black.

Celtics are: 1st NBA team to draft a black player, 1st NBA team to start 5 black players, 1st NBA team to hire a black head coach. All this due to Red Auerbach's focus on putting the best team on the floor possible.

God Bless You, Red.
and I'm sorry they allowed a Celtic dance team to be formed all in the name of being stylish.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

every day by the media , allthose first take like shows.....are biased as they can be. ..they ONLY give the Celtics BAD press.  Never anything pleasant to say . Always looking to play race card and criticism.   It all feeds the dumbed down masses that watch major TV network and their whole agenda.  They hated Kyrie being in Boston , it was like he was a prisoner the way they talked.
