I have mine's in my closet. I wanted to wear it to my beach trip tomorrow (I live in Los Angeles), but he's no longer a Celtics in reality  :( I mean if he was still in the roster, I would wear it without hesitation and let all the haters come at me LOL.

But yeah...I just don't know what to do with it now. I don't want a Brooklyn Pierce jersey...it'll make me look like a Brooklyn fan, eww lol. I guess I'll hang it on my wall or something!

Really?!?

I'm still wearing mine to home games, without a doubt.

To each his own, but The Truth is a Celtic for all time, IMHO, and I have no problem with anyone showing their allegiance to what he's done for Boston and the Celtics.

His number will one day be above us in the rafters, and until that day, I'll keep #34 warm for him.

Wore my home Pierce jersey to one of the days of Lollapalooza last week.

I'll keep it going on special occasions.

You don't retire the jersey my man, it now becomes infinitely more valuable in fact.  Wear it with pride.  I've got jerseys for Bird, Reggie, and Pierce and I hold those much more dearly than any jersey for any current player on the roster.

At least you aren't "retiring" a Ray Allen jersey. Yours still has some latent nostalgia, and that number will be up in the rafters someday.

I will continue to wear my Pierce jersey(s) long after he has retired. Growing up a celtics fan there were a lot of crappy times. But there was always one constant: Paul Pierce was busting his ass for his team, night after night, season after season. He earned that banner, he earned his ring, and he earned my undying worship. I will gladly continue to wear that jersey because, to me, he is another in a long line of players that represent what the Celtics are as a franchise.

End my fanboy rant

Gonna be so weird seeing the celtics for the first time without Pierce in my time as being a fan and knowing that he's not coming back

The Celtics should retire Pierce and Garnett's numbers this year...that would really stick it to Ray Allen!
