I am surprised Jonas Valanciunas has not had a bigger series against Chet Holmgren. Jonas is 7-0 270lbs. There is no way Chet can cover him on the post or keep Jonas of the offensive boards. I'd love to see NOP go to him more.

Actually, looking at Jonas stats. Only 21mpg. He is averaging 13ppg and 10rpg on 59% FG%. Why are you not giving him more floor time? Let him go for 25-30 points a night along with 15 rebounds. It is not like McCollum and Ingram have been playing well. You need his production.

Both teams shooting around 36%.

Lot of low IQ plays by both teams.

Not a bad game. Not a good game either.

OKC looking like the young team they are. Just not sure how they are going to win. What they should be doing. Where the ball should go. Why types of shots they should be taking.

They are just out-talenting NOP. They are not out-thinking them. They are not thinking at all.

They are super young.  There is a reason people were legitimately asking if the Lakers should have blown the 7/8 game intentionally to play for the 8th seed instead of the 7th.  I thought that was too big a risk and dumb, but the Lakers would absolutely have had a better chance against the Thunder than they do against the Nuggets.

I think whoever wins the Mavs/Clippers series will beat the Thunder.  They are too young (and too small though that is less an issue in the next round).  Thunder have a very bright future though. They could use a solid vet and more size (they hoped Hayward would be the vet).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Lol, I haven't known so many tip off times this year. Idk why, but I blame the NBA.

Yeah, I think the Lakers would have taken OKC.

I am not convinced DAL or LAC are good enough though. Both of them are dodgy in their own right. I like OKC to beat them and make the WCF.

Oooh, nice to see Hachimura make an early 3. He has been super quiet offensively in this series. Played good defense but super quiet on offense.

Lakers would have cleaned up OKC in 4 or 5.

I do have DAL over OKC in the next round. Their young, inexperienced minds will be their downfall. On the other hand, you got playoff-vets in Kyrie, and Luka.

I intended to watch the DAL/LAC game yesterday and was shocked when I tuned in that the first quarter was mostly over.

Ingram only 4pts 1-9 FGA. Still tie game.

14pts for Jonas, 14 for McCollum, 11 for Herb. Nance 6, Marshall 7, Trey 7. Good balance. If they could could get Ingram going, they would be out of sight.

Shai is quiet. 15pts on 5-13 FG and 4-7 FT. So-so. Only 2 assists against 2 turnovers. Not his normal MVP standards.

That is the difference for OKC.
