Weber calling taurean Prince Carrol. Like ten times now without anyone correcting him. They kinda look similar from afar but it’s still pretty embarrassing to have that bigger gaps in your following the league you are supposed to be an expert at.

The Sixers look real legit this season

Can't say I have seen them much this season, but this seems like a weird thing to say after they give up 136 and squeak by the 2-6 wizards by 5 at home...

I am finally getting to see them cause they are on national tv. I can't see they are looking very good right now. I am guessing this is just an off night for them and is the second night of a back to back (nets are without durant and kyrie though). I wonder why they are playing Embid tonight. He looks pretty gassed. Is this going to be a spirited comeback or stay a Nets blowout?

Embiid is always gassed. We just started the darn season and he's gassed. If this is his peak physical performance then he's never going to be able to take them to the next level.

Webber doesn’t know the difference between DeMarre Carrol (who isn’t on a team) and Taurean Prince, whereas Marv doesn’t know the difference between Chiozza and Shamet. Hilarious.

One thing remains consistent - Embiid’s stamina is once again going to be a problem for Philly

Embiid played 37 minutes last night going 38/8/5.  There are no B2Bs in the playoffs.

Levert one of the most inefficient players in the NBA. Nets should have cashed in on him over the offseason.

Yeah, and I think he looks better as a main player on a bad team.  I don't think he fits in well with other stars.  He seems to need a lot of freedom to do his thing.  His trade value will decline the longer he plays with Irving and Durant.

Has he looked better in other games? I was hearing mvp chatter...

He’s also constantly faded in every playoff run he’s been in

Teams can really leverage his subpar vision and passing skill in the playoffs. The Sixers have certainly gotten a lot more shooting from their squad, but they still have a non-shooter in Simmons (even if he develops a three point shot this year he'll be closer to Jimmy Butler from three than a true floor spacer that makes defences pay for leaving him wide open, and he definitely won't have Butler's midrange shooting). I think a good comparison to Embiid is Hakeem: the latter struggled with creation whenever there wasn't 4 shooters out there on the floor (he did have decent results with Barkley, but Barkley had a decent off-ball game with passable midrange shooting, good passing and amazing offensive rebounding, ntm Barkley was an offensive savant for a big who could create offence on his own).

Clippers choked a 22point lead
NBA teams giving up 20+ point leads happen very often in NBA games. I used to think giving away a 20+ point lead was choking, but not anymore. It's too common an occurrence now. The expansion of the three point game has allowed 20 point leads to be closed very quickly. I now look at such things as simply a shift in emotion, just an extra long run.
