What has Brad learned in this game that will be helpful for the playoffs?  I kind of annoyed at not seeing rotation players tonight.
Yeah, gotta say I don't get it either. Feels like we should be tuning up our starters, right?
I would have thought the starters could have used some work tonight but I guess this was to help build the bench's confidence?  only takeaway I can see coming from this
Maybe, but is that so important with 8 games to go until the playoffs in a completely new format?

Not sure about Brad, but I’ll tell you what I learned: This team has no center depth, none whatsoever.
I'm not offering it as a valid reason, just the only one I can come up with.  I agree our center position is definitely not a strength for us

I know guys like Waters around here, but I don't see it.  I don't think he's good enough to overcome his size disadvantage.

His ceiling is a sort of fungible deep bench player who we keep for a couple of years because he's dirt-cheap.  I'm not sure I see a regular rotation guy in him.  Hope I'm wrong, of course.

Houston play like 5-out Pro-Am teams do in 2K
It's disgusting to watch.
Amplified by it being hard to stop
By the end of our bench, sure. We'll see when they have to face an actual team like the Lakers or Clippers.
I guess I more mean Harden specifically. Unstoppable offensive force

I think this Houston team could give the Lakers a run for their money. Lakers love to play big, but the rockets love to shoot threes and Lakers may have a hard time defending that.

They are toast against the cippers tho, those guys can play small better than the Rockets can, and the Rockets dont have a counter.
Although I don't know how the Rockets are gonna defend AD. He's gonna feast on this Rockets team in a playoffs series.
AD did wreck the Rockets in the one game he played against them, but they lost as Westbrook dropped 40 on them. That's only going to get worse without AB. Danny Green can't defend both Harden and Westbrook
Caruso will have his hands full, that for sure. Hypothetically RoCo should be a nice defender for Lebron, but RoCo also has a track record of being pretty bad in the playoffs, so I'm not sure.
2023 No Top 75 Fantasy Draft Los Angeles Clippers
PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free
SF: Chris Mullin / Ron Artest
PF: Detlef Schrempf / Tom Chambers / Buck Williams
C: Ben Wallace / Andrew Bynum

I think he has the ability. It took JJ Barea 3 years to get going, and he ended up a pivotal guy on a championship winning team, and has played nearly 900 games. Earl Boykins also took a while to get going. I have faith in Tremont

I hope you're right.  I guess I just see Phil Pressey when I watch him.  He'll do okay as a fill-in third string guy here and there, but I don't really see anything more.

I'd definitely prefer your prediction over mine, though.

That's definitely valid. He was a 2nd round pick for a reason.

Maybe we'll spend a first round pick on a PG, so there might not be any need to thrust him into the lineup prematurely anyway ;D

Green has three 3 pt shots tonight...I think that makes four for his Celtics career.

Carsen has shown flashes of what he did against Cleveland in that preseason game

I disagree. It was fun to follow the game for us here. We got to see the rookies and bench in a close-to-real-game setting.

It was fun.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Fun to be reminded of the same weaknesses in the bench as we have known about?  Lack of center depth, porous perimeter defense, inconsistent guard play...sorry I just didn’t have fun.
