Also, FWIW, Bahku .... i think you used (at least in Thornton's case) the averages coming out of the games to compute the totals..

In the daily post I put 9.9 which is what Thornton had when I picked him according to EPSN, after scoring 14 last night his average rose to 10.2 (i went ahead and double checked the math).

It didn't matter, I would have just tied for 5th, but for players who've played all year that little difference might matter in the YTD standings.

Just so you know, that wasn't me, Bud ... I only did the final score of GreenFaith's ... Matt did most of the work and scores up to that point, I just finished it off.

I stand by my math, I wasn't cheating you out of points. I think you put up his average before they had been changed, he had a late game the night before you chose him.

Marcus Thornton has played in 41 games this year and he has scored a total of 420 points. subtracting the game when you chose him (His last game - 14 points) he has scored 406 points.

406 / 41 = 10.15 = 10.2

Just to clear it up...

Yeah ... that's the only problem with those late-running West-Coast games ... if you want to pick someone that's still playing, you've got to wait until morning for the updates. I've made the same mistake myself, mors than once. TP Matt, for your work doing the numbers ... I wasn't intimating that you had made a mistake, Bud, just redirecting the question to the proper source.

TPs for both of you --- like i said not a big deal; just as a newbie i wanted to make sure i was looking at the right numbers.

It's weird, i pick at work usually and thought it was the 9.9 avg; then checked before i posted (didn't want to start anything unnecessarily) and thought it was 9.9... then checked again after Bahku replied and it was 10.2... so i must just be going crazy or dyslexic
