I know that we're all focused on Gordo's ankle at the moment, but there is, in fact, another game taking place right now between the new-look Rockets and the Warriors, so yeah.

Anyway:

Hayward's injury - horrific.

Not getting killed on the boards - encouraging.

Cleveland's defense - atrocious.

Marv Albert saying "Swaggy P" on national television?  Priceless .

Rockets are not looking like the superteam hyped them up to be so far.

This is going to be an interesting season. Imagine the nets suddenly make the playoffs

I really don't want to.  That would mean the East is even worse than most people expect and the East playoffs would be really ugly.

As it stands the NBA really has to be hoping that the Sixers make the playoffs.  They need some good storylines to get people to watch and that's probably not coming from Detroit or  Charlotte. if somehow a Bucks/Sixers matchup in the 1st round occurred, that would be perfect.

Excited for Philly. Embiid, Simmons and Fultz. What a collection of top prospects.

Can't get over Fultz's free throw motion.

I was really high on him pre draft, but I'm not sure if I was right to be

Hope so.

Let those scoundrels in Cleveland (Jae, Zizic and Isaiah excluded) settle on some pick in the 20s  ;D

Philly will look great in some games, horrible in others.

Lots of variance w/ turnovers, defense, and shooting.

Spurs are so easy to watch. They move the ball so well. Multiple options for the passer.  Active cutters. Lots of shooters.

Rudy Gay looks good on offense. Not moving well laterally on defense though.

did they end up giving aldridge the extention? or were they waiting to do it later?

Suns got destroyed.  Putting in their claim as the worst team in the league early.
