GM Lebron likes his guards old. Why not take a little tip from the Champs and get some players in there and work with them all season so you have some young legs in the playoffs?

Looks like Otto Porter has signed a max 4/106 offer sheet with the Kings.

I know it's unrealistic at this point, but that would be pretty sweet if Washington let him go and didn't match. That'd really help us with both the LA and Brooklyn picks, and it'd help an Eastern rival get significantly worse.

Wall-Beal-Porter is a nice core. Paying the tax for that core is tough to stomach.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I still can't imagine that they let him go, though. I remember reading after our series that they planned on trading Gortat to save some money.

Oh, no way they let him walk. Trading Gortat would also be a pretty tough move. You're then making a pretty huge bet on Ian Mahinmi returning to form.

How do you get a max contract averaging 13.4 points and 6.4 rebounds? That's ludicrous!

It's good news for us if the Wiz decide to pay Otto that kind of money, tho. Toronto and Washington don't look to be getting better, good news for us.

Lowry re-signed with Raptors

https://twitter.com/RealGM/status/881622435262377984?s=09

Really curious to see what the contract is.

Are Toronto in the luxury tax now?

I'm seeing 3/100.

Yep, just saw.

If he gets 3/100, then Isaiah is getting more, whether people agree or not.

Maybe with a 4th year too.

Who were The Raptors bidding against with this contract? I didn't hear that anyone else was interested. That's why so many teams aren't ever going to play for a championship. That's an over pay for a 31 year old guard that relies on speed coming off an injury...

With that deal and the ibaka signing they seem to be locking themselves in to their current ceiling. Fine by me.

I think we'll get the Lakers pick unless it somehow gets the 1st seed, so the Sacramento pick won't be a concern for us.

The alternative could have been the Nets getting him.

Do it at the age of 23-24, and with the best efficiency in the league for your position.
