Anthony Davis Plans To Make Nine More Finals With LeBron James

Anthony Davis, appearing in his first Finals, believes he and James could reach The Finals in every year of this decade.

“You see the work and preparation LeBron puts in every day, and you understand why this is his 10th NBA Finals appearance. He never stops. I plan to follow this [expletive] to hopefully nine more Finals,” Davis told Yahoo Sports. “We’re all ready to go.”

Davis is 27 years old while James turns 36 in December.

“I knew what I wanted,” he told Yahoo Sports. “I wanted what he had,” pointing to James.

Good luck making it far next year with against rebumped Warriors and Clippers granted they are healthy. Not to mention some dark horses from both east and west.

lol the ONLY way that AD and LeBron have 9 more finals together is with him as the PF/C and LeBron James in a coaching role.

The kid is just hyped up after realizing that they are going to steamroll MIA and get his 1st championship (and LeBron's 4th) and of course LAL's 17th.

They have been spared quite the DOGFIGHT from not playing BOS.

We'll see you NEXT year, LeBron and AD - unless LAC or GSW or even DAL stops you.

History is being made on MANY levels, here - especially in regards to potentially tying BOS's championships and LeBron James' courageous stand on Social Issues.

But AGAIN the ONLY way AD and LeBron have "NINE" more Finals together is as Player - Coach......unless he knows of some sort of Time and Reality distorting technology that's out there.

Another Twilight Zone moment.

Lol, 9 straight years because him and Lebron have a team that could actually do that like the Celtics team that did it 10 straight years back when there were less teams? This is classic. Haha....Good luck with that Davis.

Steven Tyler summed that idea up perfectly...Dream On...

Ah, the good old days when, "I want what he has" meant "I want to beat him and take it from him"

Not "I want to join him and share it"

AD is the latest NBA superstar to make me puke
congrats dude

LA Lakers 2020 becoming the next Miami 2011

Not 1, not 2, not 3....You know the drill.

I hope Davis does not win another championship again. Riding on coattails. Slowly becoming my second-most hated player in the current NBA, and you can guess who my most hated player is.

Just hope when LeBron retires, guys like Doncic, Tatum, Leonard, Giannis don't go to the Lakers. Heck I just hope they don't sign another all-star to their team any time soon.

Davis is weirdly confident in his pretzel stick legs. There is no way he plays 820 games at fulL speed plus 150 more playoff games.
Him and lebron got lucky with the covid break and the shortened season. Maybe they will be lucky with it next year too but after that they will start breaking down unless they get more reinforcements.

I think there's a good chance that even if the Lakers win this year, it might be their last title for a while.

One gets the sense that Anthony Davis really has no idea what it takes to make 9 Finals.

Or he knows how good the stuff is that he and LeBron are taking.
